Hiring-Our-Heroes2-e1431460850843Bring Your Military Experience to Ralph Moyle, Inc.

According to a study by National Public Radio and the United States Census, driving jobs are some of the most secure and in-demand positions in the country. If you’re a veteran or active member in the U.S. armed forces and are planning to transition into the civilian workforce, Ralph Moyle, Inc. has a couple programs that can help get on the road making between $40,000 and $55,000 per year plus benefits in less than 8 weeks.

Converting Military Experience to a CDL-A

If you drove trucks in the military, it is possible that you can skip attending a driving school. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the state of Michigan have approved a waiver program for active duty or recently separated veterans who possess at least two years of safe driving experience operating a military truck. Qualified military personnel are allowed to bypass the skills test and only need to take the written exam to obtain a CDL.

We realize that there are still knowledge gaps between your military training and what is required on the civilian side. Therefore, when you come on board with Ralph Moyle, Inc. we will place you with a mentor who will work one-on-one with you until you are ready to be a solo driver.

No Driving Experience, No Problem

Many military personnel are accustomed to working outdoors, independently, and often in semi-isolation, which makes getting a CDL-A and becoming a driver a great career fit.  Ralph Moyle, Inc. will provide free training to veterans with the desire to start a driving career through a three step apprenticeship program.  Phase I will cover the essential knowledge and skills necessary to obtain a CDL-A through classroom and guided range time.  Phase II will expand the student’s knowledge of our company’s policies and procedures through practical one-on-one on training with a qualified trainer.   During this phase, the student will also focus on improving their driving skills and gaining the additional knowledge necessary to be a solo driver.  Phase III will consist of mentoring and coaching the student during their first couple months of solo driving.  So, even when you go on your own you are not alone.
